The Athena Compass is a tool developed by Caroline Malo, born from a long journey at the intersection of more than 25 years of corporate experience and a deep passion for astrology and self-knowledge.
Its development is not the result of a sudden idea, but rather of a gradual evolution. As early as spring 2025, a first reflection emerged: what if we could create a tool capable of identifying each individual’s unique leadership style? This idea then matured in the fall of 2025, before taking concrete shape in February 2026, with the start of the structured development of the Athena Compass.
A unique method, between intuition and rigor
The Athena Compass is based on a combination of elements drawn from several years of learning and practice: astrology training, professional experience, specialized encounters, and the Athena Leader program, which explores the link between planets and leadership profiles.
From this foundation, a proprietary method was created to offer a clear and personalized reading of how a person functions, makes decisions, and evolves in a professional context.
Artificial intelligence also played a role in structuring the project and optimizing the language used in interpretations. However, the core of the analysis remains entirely human, driven by the experience and intuition of its founder.
A first product: the MVP
The Athena Compass is currently in its MVP (Minimum Viable Product) phase, in the form of a report of more than 10 pages. Although condensed, this report is rich in content and analysis. Early feedback has been very positive, highlighting the relevance and depth of the insights provided.
The challenges of a hybrid innovation
Like any innovative project, the Athena Compass faces several challenges.
The first is time: developing such a comprehensive tool requires great rigor and constant involvement. The second is visibility. Indeed, bridging astrology and the corporate world represents a major challenge, as these are two worlds that are rarely associated.
Finally, one of the main challenges lies in messaging: it is not about speaking solely about astrology, but rather about self-knowledge, leadership, and professional alignment.
A clear mission: more aligned and happier employees
At the heart of the Athena Compass lies a strong mission: helping individuals better understand themselves so they can take on roles in which they truly thrive.
The goal is to foster more human work environments, where employees are happy because they are in positions aligned with their strengths, interests, and potential for growth.
A three-step vision
The development of the Athena Compass follows an evolving three-phase vision:
The first is the current MVP, a simplified and accessible report. The second involves developing a full version of the report, enriched with new components and connected to various data sources via APIs, particularly in astrology, while maintaining a strong and distinctive human interpretation. The third step aims to create personalized conversational agents capable of offering an even more individualized and interactive experience.
Organizational ambition
Beyond the product itself, the Athena Compass is part of a broader organizational transformation initiative. The goal is to support companies in understanding change by using self-knowledge as an entry point.
In this perspective, the Compass becomes a tool intended for both individuals and organizations: a lever to better navigate transitions, improve leadership, and support team development.
In the long term, this approach opens the door to workshops, conferences, and change management interventions.
Conclusion
The Athena Compass, developed by Caroline Malo, positions itself as an innovative tool at the intersection of personal development, leadership, and organizational transformation. By combining human experience, intuition, and modern technologies, it offers a new way to better understand oneself in order to better evolve in a changing world.
