He earned his PhD in Business Administration from UQAM in 2001, specializing in Technology Management and Strategy. His research focuses on the development and application of analytics and intelligent systems to address challenges in cybersecurity, disinformation, and corruption. Stéphane combines academic rigor with practical insights to help organizations understand and leverage technology strategically. Nicholas, co-founder of Rosecape, is a software developer and architect of intelligent solutions that transform how SMEs use and manage their data. He designs and develops platforms combining cloud infrastructure, automation, and artificial intelligence, with a strong focus on performance, security, and scalability. At Rosecape, he leads the creation of systems that help businesses modernize their technology architecture and fully leverage their data. With artificial intelligence at the core of the next software revolution, Nicholas builds solutions designed to tackle tomorrow’s challenges and enable organizations to remain competitive and innovative in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Hamed Motaghi is an Associate Professor in Business Technology Management at the Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO). He previously completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Marketing at the Desautels Faculty of Management, McGill University and holds a PhD with distinction on the relationship between creativity and information technologies from a joint doctoral program in Montréal. He has also taught at UQAM, HEC Montréal, and Lawrence Technological University (Michigan, USA). His research focuses on information systems management, innovation, creativity, IT-driven transformations, disruptive technologies, and the internationalization of businesses, bridging academic insight with practical applications.

Steve Johnston helps organizations clarify their digital strategy and design effective organizational systems before execution. With 25 years of entrepreneurial experience, he has founded, grown, and sold businesses across a variety of models. He leads a digital strategy execution firm and an educational platform focused on applied digital skills. His approach emphasizes aligning people, processes, and technologies to reduce complexity, accelerate decision-making, and ensure the success of sustainable digital initiatives. Steve combines practical experience with strategic insight to help organizations navigate the challenges of digital transformation efficiently and effectively.

As a data science expert, he specializes in data modeling, business intelligence, and artificial intelligence to help organizations structure, analyze, and extract value from large-scale data systems. He designs and implements custom solutions that place data and business intelligence at the heart of strategic decision-making. By combining technical expertise with a practical business perspective, Sébastien enables companies to leverage their data effectively, optimize operations, and make informed, strategic choices that drive growth and innovation.

André has over 22 years of experience in intellectual property, specializing in developing patent portfolios for high-technology innovations, including information technology, optics, telecommunications, construction products, and industrial processes. As a physicist, he seeks to understand the fundamental principles behind each invention to fully grasp its technical and technological aspects and the unique commercial advantages it offers. Through strategic patent drafting and international filings, André helps clients optimize their legal positioning and maximize the value of their patent portfolios, while carefully considering budgets for portfolio development. His work bridges technical expertise and strategic IP management.

Yan has been an entrepreneur since the age of 22, experiencing the full business journey from creation to acquisition. He co-founded Pomelo (health tech), later acquired by Telus Health, and contributed to raising a total of $49 million across sectors including health, cleantech, ad tech, food tech, and travel tech. Now founder of Capua and CFO of InBeat Agency, he supports growing organizations and startups as an expert in technology, finance, and AI strategy. Known for uncovering hidden synergies between technology, finance, and execution, Yan helps businesses turn challenges into opportunities across product development, AI, funding, and market strategy.

Marc St-Arnaud is an entrepreneur and seasoned strategist with over 30 years of experience in business development, operations management, human resources, and international trade, including 20 years on the global stage. Having worked in more than 60 countries, he helps organizations grow, transform, and structure their internal operations. Recognized for his ability to mobilize teams, build lasting partnerships, and manage complex projects, Marc guides companies in clarifying their vision, optimizing processes, and implementing actionable performance strategies. His approach combines rigor, humanity, and deep field expertise to deliver sustainable results.

François Perron holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal (1996) and a Master’s in Renewable Energy from ÉTS (2016). He contributes to innovation projects in electronics, telecommunications, transportation, and renewable energy for startups and growing companies. Since the mid-1990s, he has led teams in startups such as NetCorp/VIPswitch and Hyperchip, founded his own company Solutions Cydone, and taught electronics at Cégep de l’Outaouais. He launched CyberQuébec.org and secured over $10M CAD in project funding. He has served on multiple boards and is currently founding a startup to recover waste heat from distributed data centers for home comfort.
